Differences Between "will" and "would".

Would and will both have many meanings. Would can be used for making a formal request. For example, 'Would you be able to help me?' Will can also be used in requests, just that it is normally used in annoyance. "Will you please listen to what I'm saying!"

Would can also be used to offer something formally. "Would you like a cup of coffee?" It is also used to talk about the results of an unlikely situation, "What would you do if you could live on the moon?", and for asking or giving opinions; "You wouldn't recognize our school now if u saw it." Lastly, it can be used for saying what somebody wants. "I think David would prefer to be alone."

Will can be used to give orders and set rules. "You will not attend the party." It can also be used for talking about future events or actions. "They will win the match tomorrow."
